Tempo GP

Terms of Service

Studystreaks Ltd · Tempo GP · last updated August 2026

These terms apply to everyone who uses Tempo GP, whether on a trial, a solo subscription or a practice team subscription. Section 11 sets out exactly what happens to your records if a subscription ends.

1. What this service is

Tempo GP is an operational planning and wellbeing tool. It helps clinicians record how their working time is spent and helps practices understand team capacity against recognised safe working guidance.

It is not a clinical system. It provides no clinical decision support, no triage, no prescribing and no patient record. Reports, scorecards and AI-generated analysis are informational aids for discussion — they are not professional, legal, employment or medical advice, and responsibility for any decision taken remains with the practice.

2. Zero patient data

Tempo GP never requests, collects, stores or processes patient identifiable data. Do not enter patient names, dates of birth, CHI or NHS numbers, or identifiable clinical detail into any free-text field, note or friction tag.

You are responsible for ensuring your team follows this. We may remove content that appears to contain patient identifiable data.

3. Accounts and eligibility

Accounts are for named individuals working in primary care. Do not share sign-in credentials. Keep your details accurate, and tell your practice lead when you join or leave a team so the roster stays correct.

Practice leads can manage the team roster, shared usual-day templates, sprint weeks and practice-level settings. Leads see aggregated totals only, never a colleague’s individual entries.

4. Trial and billing

Every new account starts with a 3-month trial. Subscriptions are annual only, charged in advance, and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

  • Solo clinician (locum or sessional): £50 per year. Lets you log at any practice.
  • Practice team: £40 per clinician per year, with a minimum of £200 and a maximum of £900 per practice per year.
  • Where a practice holds a team subscription it covers everyone on its roster, including locums working there. Cover of under 7 days is free.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices shown in other currencies are the local equivalent tier, not a conversion. Prices exclude VAT where applicable, and may change on renewal with at least 30 days’ notice.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Cancel at any time from the billing page; access continues to the end of the paid year. We do not refund part-years, except where a sub-processor change is objected to under the Data Processing Agreement, or where required by law.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to monitor or discipline individual colleagues covertly, to attempt to de-anonymise aggregated reporting, to resell or white-label the service, to probe or circumvent security controls, or to upload unlawful content. Automated scraping of the application is not permitted.

7. Your data and ownership

You keep ownership of everything you record. We process it as described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement. You can export a complete copy at any time. We may use fully aggregated, de-identified statistics that cannot identify any person or practice to improve the service and its benchmarks.

8. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and maintenance may occasionally interrupt access. Support is by email to hello@studystreaks.co.uk, normally answered within 5 working days.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made on the basis of reports produced by the service. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Data retention after cancellation

Tempo GP holds workload records on behalf of the clinicians and practices who create them. This section sets out what happens to those records if a subscription is cancelled or is not renewed.

Data retention & portability upon cancellation

Data access. Upon cancellation or non-renewal of your subscription, your data remains fully available for export via the Downloads menu for 30 days after expiry.

Extended read-only window. Between day 31 and day 90, account dashboards are locked, but account leads may sign in solely to perform a full data download (JSON or CSV), and each member may download their own record.

Permanent purge. At day 90 after expiry, all associated practice records, individual session logs and personal data are permanently and securely deleted from our active databases and backup systems, in line with UK and EU GDPR storage limitation principles.

Resubscribing. If you subscribe again at any point before day 90, everything is restored exactly as it was. Nothing is deleted early.
